Brandon Bell & Caleb Elder Sign With Clark State Baseball 2019

Brandon Bell and Caleb Elder from Valley High School, Louisville Kentucky have signed a national letter of intent to play baseball for the Clark State Community College baseball team for the upcoming season.
Bell brings talent to the Eagles team both as an infielder and a pitcher. He has excelled the past two seasons on the mound. For his senior year, he has posted a 1.58 ERA in 13.1 innings while recording 18 strikeouts.
Elder is a dual threat as a first baseman and a pitcher. So far his senior year he has been hitting and starting first base on a regular bases. In eight games, he has a .261 average, .414 on-base percentage, 6 RBI’s and 5 Runs scored. On the mound he has three appearances with 15.2 innings and has recorded 23 strikeouts. “We look forward to add Brandon to our pitching staff, and compete for a starting spot,” said Head Coach Chase Brown. “Caleb has an opportunity to come in and compete at first base or our DH position.”
