Jason "JJ" Smith has committed to play baseball for the Clark State Community College Eagle's 2018 season.
Smith will graduate from Gahanna Lincoln High School in Gahanna, OH this spring. He was selected as one of only 20 Ohio High School Athletic Association student leadership ambassadors this past fall.
"I chose Clark State for the education. The school has all the amenities any students would need," said Smith. "Additionally, I chose Clark State for Coach Brown; I love his morals and his love of the game."
The 5'10" outfielder also spends some time as first-baseman. Clark State Baseball Coach Chase Brown said Smith is "an outfielder with a power-bat."
